Kochel MK II

P.Y. Park, professional sound engineer, industrialist and lover of Mozart created the Köchel K300, his company's first loudspeaker. Since this original superb loud speaker P.Y. has continued to design original and excelent sounding loudspeakers.

Ludwig von Köchel (1800-1877), an Austrian-born botanist and mineralogist, dedicated his life to the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart resulting in what is known as "das Köchel Verzeichnis", i.e KV427.

With no less dedication, P.Y. Park dedicated a portion of his life to achieving the dream of developing and producing a high performance loudspeaker capable of capturing the essence of the original live performance. He was convinced that only the time proven, but largely forgotten horn loaded driver would be able to do this, and by combining decades of high efficiency driver design expertise, high tech management, old-world cabinetry craftsmanship and a love of music, he was able to realize his dream.
